The world would be a much better place if we all did that.
Remember, we only live once.
Life is too short to worry about the little things.
Being happy is where it’s at. :)

For those of you who read/follow my Twitter, you’d know that yesterday was my first ever appointment with the gynaecologist.
The main reason I, or rather, my mum, scheduled the appointment for me was because I was supposed to take my Gardasil shot.
For those of you who don’t know what the Gardasil shot is, it’s a vaccination that is supposed to protect you from certain strains of HPV’s, some of which can cause cervical cancer.
But more on the Gardasil vaccination some other time.
Since I was going to see the gynaecologist for the vaccination, my mum thought it would also be a good idea for me to speak to him about safe sex. Contraception, how to protect myself from STDs and stuff like that.
At first I was a little nervous about going to visit him because I was worried that it may be awkward (my gynae is a family friend) and I may feel uncomfortable talking to him or whatever. But really, there was absolutely nothing for me to be worried about because he made it really easy to talk to him and I learned alot of important things.
I learned that you can get an STD from kissing someone.
I learned that genital warts make your, aherm, private regions, look like something out of an alien movie (yes, he showed me pictures! If you’re curious, Google “genital warts” But I warn you, it’s gross enough for you to want to say no to sex for the rest of your life)
I learned that once you contract Herpes, it stays in your body FOREVER. You CANNOT get rid of it.
I learned that you can’t always SEE an STD. So just because the guy LOOKS safe, doesn’t mean he is.
I learned that STDs can cause infertility and cervical cancer.
I learned that there are SO MANY strains of HPV’s that even the doctors don’t know all of them.
I learned that Herpes in some cases, are transmitted from a mother to her child.
And I have to say, I thought I knew alot from reading CLEO and Cosmopolitan and Seventeen and other like minded magazines, but after yesterday, I realize I didn’t know as much as I should have known.
So I am writing this post for all the girls out there reading this who are sexually active or thinking about becoming sexually active. And just so you know, you don’t have to be actually HAVING SEX for it to count as being sexually active. Oral sex counts, even kissing. Because as I said, some types of STDs can be passed through kissing.
Girls, go and make an appointment with a gynaecologist, speak to him about the dangers of unprotected sex and what you can do to protect yourself.
If you are having/have had sex, get a PAP smear and a HPV-DNA test to make sure that you really are clear of STDs and there are no irregularities in your cervic that may lead to cancer.
I know PLENTY of girls who don’t use condoms because they are in committed relationships. But girls, you shouldn’t only be worried about getting pregnant, you should also be worried about contracting an STD. Like I said, just because you can’t SEE it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
If you’re sexually active, you should be responsible enough to protect yourself from the dangers of it too.
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE YOUR GYNAECOLOGIST!
It’s a decision that you will not regret and I’m really glad I went to see one yesterday because it has really opened my eyes to how dangerous unprotected sex can be.

Quick one today coz I’m really tired. Sorry! Be back with a longer one tomorrow. :)

I’ve been meaning to blog about www.roundbean.blogspot.com for awhile now. Sometime ago, I ordered some accessories from her. The heart-shaped necklace I’m wearing here, a pink wrap bracelet and some beaded bracelets.
I just wanna say how accommodating and dedicated the owner of this blog is to her customers. She customised all the accessories I ordered specific to what I wanted and patiently answered my 9182739173 questions.
With the wrap bracelet, she even listed out ALL the charms she had for me to choose from! And the first time she did the wrap bracelet for me, I didn’t like it. She immediately said that she would redo it and sent me a picture within a day or two of the new design.
And yes, she sends you pictures of your item before you buy it. So if you don’t like it, she can change it to your liking. Now THAT’S customer service, yo!
The materials she uses to make her accessories are good quality too! If you’re looking for some customised accessories, www.roundbean.blogspot.com is definitely worth a visit! She’s got tons of nice stuff! :)
Anyway! I was at The Curve yesterday with Manda, Sam and M.
Ling couldn’t make it coz she wasn’t feeling well. :(
And Vnn joined us for a little while too, later in the day.
Not many pictures coz none of us were in a “picture-taking” mood but here’s what I’ve got!
Mandapanda and I.
Was good to catch up with her after SO long! The last time I saw her was at the Nike event and the both of us were way too busy to have a conversation with each other.
Sam and Vnn.
Love this picture of them. :)
Manda and M.
Hahaha! I LOVE this picture!
I loved it so much that it was the only one I bothered to edit. :p
As most of you would know, I’m the laziest person ever. So I NEVER edit my pictures. Even when some of them REALLY need to be edited. :p
Ah well! Au naturale bitches! Lol.
But yesterday was a good day. :) I had tons of fun just talking and laughing and we’re thinking of making Monday’s our regular “catch up” day.
Spending time with your girlfriends is love! <3
Just a quick one today. I should be uploading pictures from Genting coz M has already asked me for them but I don’t have the time today! Sorry M! I’ll upload them really soon, I promise! :)
And Ling, PD pictures will be up soon too! :p
Aiyo, I hate it when I’m behind with my updates! It stresses me out like crazy!

Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures btw. This was taken in a rush, very early in the morning.
Anyway! Today, I did something very interesting. Yee Ming, Emilie and I went for a pole dancing class in Kota Damansara.
I’ve actually been wanting to do pole dancing for a really long time but I never got around to doing it because I’m always too busy/the classes are to far from where I stay etc etc.
This class I took today was free because the teacher is trying to get her teaching certificate/licence so she needed to teach a class in front of an examiner/moderator before she can be an OFFICIAL teacher. So seeing that the class was free and it was near (Kota Damansara) to where I live, I thought, why not right? No excuse for me to NOT try something I’ve been wanting to try!
Below, you can watch a video of mine, Yee Ming’s and Emilie’s first time pole dancing!
It’s not much, but eh, first time okay!
I’m in the black tee,Yee Ming’s in the pink tee and Emilie is in white.
To cut a long story short, I totally love it and I am DEFINITELY going back for lessons! I can’t wait!
And btw, it really isn’t as easy as it looks! The spinning that we’re doing is actually VERY basic stuff and I was struggling to get it right! But it is SO MUCH FUN and totally worth all the pain! Lol!
When I get my own place, I am TOTALLY going to install a pole in my bedroom! :D Or in my living room! To entertain my guests! Hahahaha!

Okay, in case you’re wondering why I keep capitalizing the Chanel “INSPIRED”, it’s because tons of people keep asking me where I got my “Chanel” from. It is NOT a Chanel nor is it a fake! There is no Chanel logo on the bag and it is merely an INSPIRED piece! However, I DO wish I could afford the real thing! Unfortunately, I don’t really think it’s appropriate for a 19 year old who doesn’t earn her own money to be spending so much money on a bag! 10k okay!
When I’m earning my own money, I will buy the real thing. In ALL colours! :p
I think my favourite outfit from all of these would have to be the nautical inspired dress!
So! Which is YOUR favourite outfit?
Australia Part Four! :D
Finally right? Lol. :p
So for the last day that we were in Brisbane, my mum wanted to go whale watching since it was “whale season” while we were there.
I was really excited and looking really forward to it because 1. I love whales/dolphins and 2. Everyone kept telling me what an amazing experience it was!
I was so excited to go that I didn’t mind waking up at 7am eventhough I was so tired from the competition the day before.
The whale watching tour that we took was really well organized (I’m not sure if they’re all like this or if there’s only one company that does it) All we had to do was call a number, book the number of seats we wanted (a couple of days in advance) and then they sent someone to our hotel to pick us up and take us to the harbour/port which wasn’t in Brisbane city.
Because it was so early in the morning, I fell asleep on the way there.
When I woke up, we were in this beautiful seaside town (I can’t remember the name of the town though! Sunshine Coast I think?) I remember, my first thought waking up was “Whoa! I thought these kinda places only existed in movies!” Lol.
And there was a little market by the harbour/port that I SO wanted to go too but we didn’t have time. :(
Taken on the boardwalk.
How gorgeous is the view right?
It looks like it’s a postcard! But I swear, this was taken by me, with my new camera that everyone loves! Haha!
I THINK the boat in the second picture is the one we were on. :p
Oh, and everytime I look at the first picture, I just can’t help smiling coz it’s just SO beautiful, it makes me so happy! Lol!
The footprints in the sand, the clear blue water, the way the sun is shimmering in the sea. *sigh* So beautiful!
Dailydress! :D
No, I have not given up on it!
Tons of people are asking me if I’ve stopped doing my dailydress but no, I haven’t! I have been taking dailydress pictures everytime I dress up (which is almost everyday. Lol) I just haven’t been blogging very regularly. :p Tomorrow (or the day after) is going to be a MASSIVE dailydress post, I promise! :D
Beanie: It belongs to Sam! She left it in my car so I stole it! :p Sunnies: MNG Scarf: Forever 21 Black dress (worn inside): Forever 21 Long black cardigan: Forever 21 Grey semi-sheer tights: Online boutique (I can’t remember which, sorry! It was a long time ago!) Shoes: Nose Bag: Gucci
One more picture before we got on the boat!
SO pretty right? :)
I love this picture of my mum. :) She looks so beautiful.
And that is the end of the pictures from the whale tour. Lol. Yes, no pictures of the whales.
Why?
Because I was SO seasick on the boat! I was too busy throwing up and feeling miserable to take pictures. Lol.
Most of you probably don’t know this about me, but I have REALLY BAD motion sickness. On boats mostly, planes next and then cars.
This particular time was REALLY bad. Throughout the trip, I was just throwing up. It got so bad that at one point, I was just throwing up foamy stuff coz there was nothing left for me to throw up and my stomach was just cramping up like crazy. : /
BUT
Seeing the whales were worth it.
At one point, they were so close to the boat! Like, 10 or 15ft away from us!
So amazing!
Definitely something you must do if you happen to be in Brisbane at the right time!
Having said that, I will NEVER do it again because of how sick I was.
Mind you, I had taken a motion sickness tablet before we left the harbour and I was still violently ill during the trip!
Even after I got off the boat, I was still swaying. Lol.
The staff were all AMAZING though. They were running around distributing sick bags to everyone and collecting the USED sick bags (yes, with vomit in them) and giving passengers new ones.
ALOT of people were seasick, so it wasn’t just me! :p
Later that night, my mum and I decided that we wanted to go down to Elizabeth Street to walk around and enjoy the weather since it was our last night there.
Hoodie: Jay Jays in Australia Black tights: www.oh-popsicles.blogspot.com Shoes: Nose
Omg, don’t you LOVE my hoodie? I totally love it! I actually bought it in Australia but I couldn’t wait to wear it. :p And it’s SO comfortable too! When I go to Melbourne, I’m gonna get more! :p In different designs of course! Haha!
And also, go visit the online boutique I bought my tights from! They’re one of my favourite online boutiques. They bring in really nice stuff and the owner is just the sweetest girl ever! Super friendly! I’m considering buying a pair of the black ripped skinny jeans/tights. :p
We were outside some random shop on Elizabeth Street btw. Lol!
Spongebob says hi! :D
I swear, it’s like there are 2 faces in this picture. It’s a bit creepy if you think about it. Lol.
Sat on the benches and plugged in my iPod for about 15 minutes. <3
I seriously loved the weather there!
And btw, Spongebob is watching you! Lol!
Along Elizabeth Street.
If you’re wondering who took this picture for us, it was some random stranger on the street. Lol. People in Australia are SUPER friendly! I love it!
No prizes for guessing where I am!
My pose is SO MUCH cooler! :p
Jumping shot! Haha! How corny! :p
But I love this shot!
I like jumping shots. :D
Gosh, we look SO alike here!
Lucky me, eh?
<3
One last one before we go! :)
And that folks, is AUSTRALIA!
Omg, I’m finally done! Lol!
Now you understand why I couldn’t have done it in one post? :)
